(D) AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES, SUPPORT MAY BE CONTINUED
[[AT THE APPROPRIATE MONTHLY RATE]] TO PARENTS WHO ADOPT
FOSTER CHILDREN. THE AMOUNT AND DURATION OF ADOPTION
SUBSIDY PAYMENTS MAY VARY ACCORDING TO THE SPECIAL NEEDS
OF THE CHILD AND THE INCOME OF THE ADOPTING PARENT AND
MAY INCLUDE MAINTENANCE COSTS, MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND
SURGICAL EXPENSES, PSYCHIATRIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL
EXPENSES, AND OTHER COSTS NECESSARY FOR THE CHILD'S CARE
AND WELL BEING.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

load limit tolerance for vehicles transporting

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 14-108 of Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle
Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement
Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
