(C)   COMMODITY.

"COMMODITY" MEANS GOODS, WARES, MERCHANDISE,
MACHINERY, SUPPLIES, OR ANY OTHER ARTICLES IN TRADE OR
COMMERCE.

(D)   COUNTY.

"COUNTY" INCLUDES BALTIMORE CITY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added to avoid repetitive reference to
"Baltimore City." Although Art. 1, §14 of the
Code generally provides that "county" includes
Baltimore City, that rule of construction is
repeated here for purposes of emphasis.

(E)   COURT.

"COURT" MEANS THE CIRCUIT COURT OF A COUNTY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added to indicate, without unnecessary
repetition elsewhere in this subtitle, that
proceedings under this subtitle are in the
circuit court of a county or Baltimore City.

(F) PERSON.

"PERSON" INCLUDES AN INDIVIDUAL, CORPORATION,
BUSINESS TRUST, ESTATE, TRUST, PARTNERSHIP, ASSOCIATION,
TWO OR MORE PERSONS HAVING A JOINT OR COMMON INTEREST, OR
ANY OTHER LEGAL OR COMMERCIAL ENTITY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
setting forth a broad, standardized definition
of the word "person" as used in this article.
It is a synthesis of the U.C.C. definitions of
"person" and "organization" contained in
§1-201 (28) and (30) of this article, except
that the reference to "government or
governmental subdivision or agency" is not
included. This definition, which replaces
that presently appearing as Art. 83, §37(a),
is in no way intended to change the existing
law, merely to clarify it.

(G) SERVICE.
