11-108. SHORT TITLE.

THIS SUBTITLE MAY BE CITED AS THE MARYLAND FAIR
TRADE ACT.

Art. 83, §110.

The reference to "Maryland" is added to
distinguish this subtitle from the Fair Trade
Acts of other jurisdictions.

The only other changes are in style.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE.

In revising this subtitle, the Commission to Revise
the Annotated Code concluded that present Art. 83, §109
is unnecessary and repetitions in light of the general
severability provision of Art. 1, §23. Accordingly, Art.
83, §109 is proposed for repeal.

1 1-201. DEFINITIONS.

(A)   IN GENERAL.

IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE
MEANINGS INDICATED.

(B)   ATTORNEY GENERAL.

"ATTORNEY GENERAL" MEANS THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF
MARYLAND OR HIS DESIGNEE.

added to avoid unnecessary repetitive
reference to the "designee" of the Attorney
General or to an "assistant attorney general."
