Any person whose certificate of registration has been so
suspended or revoked, may, on application to the Board
and in the discretion of said Board, have the same
reissued to him or her upon satisfactory proof that the
disqualification has ceased.

546.

Any investigation, inquiry [or] hearing or
examination which [said] THE Board is empowered by law to
hold or undertake may be held or undertaken by or before
[any two members of said Board] THE MAJORITY OF THE
MEMBERS OF THE BOARD or its secretary, and the finding or
order of [such] members of [said] THE Board or [such] THE
representative, when concurred in by [two members of the
Board], THE MAJORITY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD shall
have the same force and effect as the finding or order of
the whole Board [and shall be so considered].

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
534 of Article 43 — Health, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be
and it is hereby repealed:

Article 43 - Health

[534.

"Trichology," for the purpose of this section, is
defined to be the massaging, cleansing, stimulating,
exercising or similar work upon the scalp, by the use of
mechanical or electrical apparatus or appliances, or
cosmetics, preparations, tonics, antiseptics, creams or
lotions, or by other means. A certificate of
registration limited to the practice of trichology only
may be applied for and granted under all of the terms and
conditions of this subtitle, except that the examination
therefor shall be limited to such practice only, and the
required schooling shall be not less than 200 hours, or
not less than three months' practical experience as an
apprentice.

A certificate of registration for a manager, limited
to having direct supervision over operators registered to
practice trichology only, may be applied for and granted
under all of the terms and conditions of this subtitle,
except that the examination therefor shall be limited to
the subject of trichology only, and the required
schooling shall be not less than 1,000 hours, or not less
than 12 months' experience as an operator in the practice
of trichology.]
