SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 37 of Article 77A - Higher
Education, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

(a) The designation of the recipient of any award
to be made by Senators and authorized by this subtitle
shall be made by the Senators by July 1 of the year in
