78.
(b) Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary
in this article, in Charles County [and], Anne Arundel
County, [[AND]] PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, AND BALTIMORE
COUNTY, upon the death of any married licensee, or upon
the death of any licensee holding such license for the
benefit of a partnership or corporation, upon application
to the official issuing said license, a new license shall
be issued to the surviving spouse, the surviving partners
for the benefit of such partnership, or the senior
surviving officer for the benefit of such corporation
without the necessity of any further proceedings for the
balance of the current license year. A renewal license
may be issued to the surviving spouse or to the surviving
members of a partnership or corporation, provided they
qualify to hold such license under the provisions of this
article.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

Natural Resources — Environmental and Estuarine Studies
FOR the purpose of [[creating a center for Environmental
and Estuarine Studies as a division of the
University of Maryland and under the control of the
University Board of Regents]] designating the center
for Environmental and Estuarine studies to encompass
the functions of the Natural Resources Institute:
eliminating the Natural Resources Institute; and
relating generally to Environmental and Estuarine
Studies.
