Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 117(b)(2) of Article 2B -
Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages
117.
(b) (2) [Provided, however, that] HOWEVER, in
Prince George's County [no] A person under 18 years of
age [shall] MAY NOT be employed [to sell beer and light
wine nor shall any person under 21 years of age be
employed] to sell, DELIVER OR OTHERWISE DEAL WITH
alcoholic beverages, [other than beer and light wine by
any holder of an alcoholic beverage license that permits

eighteen shall be employed for the sale of alcoholic
beverages in any other licensed establishment. This
section shall not prohibit the employment of anyone under
the aforementioned prohibited age by the holder of such a
license or in said establishments for any purpose except
the sale of alcoholic beverages. No person under
eighteen years of age shall sell, deliver, or otherwise
deal with alcoholic beverages in any Class D licensed
establishment and no person under the age of eighteen
years of age shall sell, deliver or otherwise deal with
alcoholic beverages in any other licensed establishment
in said county.]
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
