AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County —
Alcoholic Beverages
FOR the purpose of increasing the number of full and part
time inspectors to the board of license
commissioners of Prince George's County; and
deleting the requirement that a certain bond be
posted.
BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,
Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages
Section 158(k)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 158(k) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages
158.
(k) In Prince George's County, the board of license
commissioners shall appoint an administrator, an
attorney, and all inspectors for the board. The
inspectors shall each have all the powers of a peace
officer or a constable or sheriff of the State of
Maryland, and shall make oath to faithfully perform the
duties entrusted to them, as provided in Article 1, § 6
of the Constitution of the State of Maryland[, and they
shall furnish bond in the penalty of $2,000.00 to the
board of license commissioners of Prince George's County
and the Board of County commissioners of Prince George's
County jointly, conditioned that they shall well and
faithfully execute their office in all things
appertaining, thereto. The cost of said bond shall be
paid by the County Commissioners of Prince George's
County]. The inspectors of Prince George's County shall
be known as "alcoholic beverage inspectors for Prince
George's County." The inspectors shall have the duty of
