Section 70A

Article 9 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1969 Edition and 1972 Supplement, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 70A be and it is hereby added
to the Public Local Laws of Charles County being Article
9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1969
Edition and 1972 Supplement, as amended) to read as
follows:

Article 9

70A.

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ARE AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE A
BOND NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION DOLLARS TO BE USED FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT BUILDING
AND POSSIBLY A JAIL IN THE SAME BUILDING.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
