SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 8-43, to be under the new
subtitle "Washington County Code Supplement", be and it
is hereby added to the Public Local Laws of Washington
County being Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1970 Edition, as amended) to read as
follows:

Article 22

WASHINGTON COUNTY CODE SUPPLEMENT

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY SHALL
HAVE PREPARED AND PUBLISHED, OR CONTRACT FOR THE
PREPARATION AND PUBLICATION, OF A SUPPLEMENT TO OR NEW
EDITION OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF WASHINGTON
COUNTY. THE SUPPLEMENT OR NEW EDITION SHALL BE PUBLISHED
IN 1976 OR BEFORE AND AT INTERVALS OF NO LESS THAN FOUR
YEARS AFTER THAT DATE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

Caroline County — Contingency Fund

FOR the purpose of converting the present emergency fund
to a contingency fund which consists of a certain
proportion of the total property tax estimates in
Caroline County; permitting the County Commissioners
to use the contingency fund by ordinance only; and
relating generally to a contingency fund in Caroline
County.
