SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 2-108(u) of Article - Estates and
Trusts, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume
and 1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Article — Estates and Trusts
2-108.
(u) Talbot County.
Each of the judges of the court for Talbot.
County shall receive [$15 for every day's attendance upon
the sessions of the court, not to exceed $1,500 in any
one year. Nothing in this subsection shall be construed
to limit the expenses of the judges of the Orphans' Court
for Talbot County as provided for in §3(e) of Article 25]
A SALARY AS SET BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of this Act shall not be construed to extend
or apply to the salary of the Judges for the Orphans'
Court for Talbot County in office on the effective date
of this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning
the salary of the Judges for the Orphans' Court for
Talbot County shall take effect at the beginning of the
next following tern of office.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning
Talbot County — Sheriff
FOR the purpose of specifying that the salary of the
Sheriff of Talbot County shall be as set by the
County Council of Talbot County, clarifying
language, and specifying that the salary alteration
provided for by this Act does not affect the
incumbent.
