house] FOR the State's Attorney and his staff and shall
provide [such] secretarial and clerical assistance as
necessary from time to time.

[(3) The State's Attorney for Talbot County and any
assistant State's attorneys in said county are herewith
prohibited from representing any client in a civil natter
either on behalf of the plaintiff or the defendant in any
case related to the obtention or defense of divorce,
support, custody or other civil natters of a domestic
nature.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the

provisions of this Act shall not be construed to extend
or apply to the salary of the State's Attorney of Talbot
County in office on the effective date of this Act, but
the provisions of this Act concerning the salary of the
State's Attorney of Talbot County shall take effect at
the beginning of the next following tern of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

Talbot County — Orphans' Court Judge's Salary

FOR the purpose of providing that the compensation paid
the judges of the Orphans' Court for Talbot County
shall be as set by the County Council, and
specifying that the salary increase provided for by
this Act does not affect the incumbent judge.
