SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 223(1) be and it is hereby added to Article 56 —
Licenses, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972
Replacement Volume and 1971 Supplement) to read as
follows:

Article 56 — Licenses

223.

(L) IF ANY CHECK TENDERED TO THE COMMISSION IN
PAYMENT OF ANY FEE OR CHARGE IS RETURNED AS
UNCOLLECTABLE, AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF [[$10]] $5 SHALL BE
COLLECTED FROM THE PERSON PRESENTING THE CHECK IN ORDER
TO COVER THE COST OF COLLECTION.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

Real Estate Brokers — License Requirements

FOR the purpose of deleting the requirement that an
applicant for a license as a real estate broker must
have three years' experience in selling real estate
[[as a licensed real estate salesman]], and
substituting another requirement; and correcting
language.
