FOR the purpose of correcting an error in the subsection
dealing with the fee charged by the Real Estate
Commission for an associate real estate broker's
license; increasing the fee charged for a duplicate
or transfer of a [[saleman's]] salesman's license;
providing for a service charge for uncollectable
checks tendered to the Commission; and correcting
language.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 223(c) and (i) of Article 56 -
Licenses, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and they are
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 56 — Licenses

223.

The following fees shall be charged by and paid to
the Commission by resident applicants.

(c) For each license as [a real estate broker or]
AN associate real estate broker issued to a member of a
partnership, association, or officer of a corporation
other than the member of the partnership or association,
or officer of the corporation named in the license issued
to such partnership, association, or corporation, a
biennial fee of [twenty dollars ($20.00)] $20, and for
each biennial registration of [said] THE license
thereafter, a fee of [twenty dollars ($20.00)] $20.

(i) For each duplicate or transfer of
[[saleman's]] SALESMAN'S license, a fee of [one dollar
($1.00).] $5.
