AN ACT concerning

Fish and Fisheries — License to Catch Oysters and
Clams Commercially

FOR the purpose of imposing a duty to possess and display
the appropriate license when catching oysters or
clams for [[commerical]] commercial purposes, and
generally revising the law relating to the
possession and display of hard—shell clam licenses.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 4-1025 of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume
and 1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed:

The captain or master of any boat licensed to take
hard—shell clams with a handscrape, shinnecock rake, or
by hydraulic or mechanical dredge in Tangier or Pocomoke
sounds, shall have the pertinent license on board his
boat and shall exhibit it on demand to any Natural
Resources Police officer, law enforcement officer, or
duly authorized employee of the Department. Each person
