in each year, at such times and places as the Board may
determine. Such notice of the times and places of such
examinations shall be given as the Board may [seem] DEEM
proper. The Board may make and adopt such rules and
regulations in connection with the conduct of its
examinations as may, in the judgment of the said Board,
be necessary to carry out the purposes and provisions of
this subtitle. It shall provide such books, blanks and
forms as may be necessary in order to conduct said
examinations, and shall keep and preserve a complete
record of all of its transactions. It shall investigate
violations and report same to the State's Attorney of
Baltimore City or the county where violation takes place,
who shall prosecute. No license to practice podiatry
shall be granted by the Board unless at least three
members of the Board vote in favor of granting such
license. All examinations shall be conducted by the
Board in writing, but the Board, in its discretion, may
use supplementary oral and clinical examination. The
examinations shall include only those subjects taught in
the accepted podiatry curriculum. After such
examination, the Board shall without any unnecessary
delay act upon same, and shall issue a certificate signed
by each member of the Board to the successful candidates.
An official record of all examinations shall be spread on
the minutes of the Board. The Board may waive the
written requirement of its examination with respect to
any applicant who has successfully passed the examination
given by the National Board of Podiatry Examiners. The
Board of Podiatry Examiners shall report annually to the
Board of Medical Examiners of the Medical and Chirurgical
Faculty of Maryland, in detail all of their transactions.

(p) The term "cosmetologist—aide" is defined as any
person at least 16 years of age who under the supervision
of a beauty shop manager in a registered beauty salon,
for compensation engages in limited practices of beauty
culture, restricted to[,] shampooing, the removal of
nets, rollers, clips, pins, permanent wave solutions,
neutralizers, stabilizers, hair relaxers, waving rods,
tints or bleaches, sterilizing of equipment and like
activities.

Each member of said Board shall receive twenty—five
dollars ($25.00) for each day employed in the actual
discharge of his or her official duties, not to exceed in
any one year the sum of three thousand seven hundred
fifty dollars ($3,750.00) for any member of the Board,
and his or her necessary expenses so incurred. There
