SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

Dorchester County — Orphans' Court

FOR the purpose of repealing an unnecessary local law of
Dorchester County concerning the appointment and
compensation of a crier in the Orphans' Court of
Dorchester County.

BY repealing

The Public Local Laws of Dorchester County
Section 324

Article 10 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1961 Edition)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 324 of the Public Local Laws of
Dorchester County being Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1961 Edition) be and it is hereby
repealed:

Article 10
[324.

They may appoint their own crier, and the County
Commissioners shall annually levy for his use a sum not
exceeding one dollar per day for every day the register
of wills shall certify he acted as such.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
