COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

This Act shall take effect on the 76th day following
the date on which it becomes law-

Chapter 2

AN ACT to amend Chapter 1, title "General Provisions," of
the Montgomery County Code 1965, as amended, by
repealing in their entirety Section 1—2, title
"Applicability of Code with reference to Council,"
Section 1—8, title "Violation of certain sections of
Charter - Penalty," Section 1—9, title "Same — Not
to affect other provisions, etc.," and Section 1—10,
title "Daylight saving time," and to amend Chapter
2, title "Administration," of the Montgomery County
Code 1965, as amended, by repealing in their
entirety Section 2—14, title "Work week," Section
2-84, title "Safety board," and Section 2-86, title
"Compensation of members of boards," and to amend
Chapter 11, title "Health and Sanitation," of the
Montgomery County Code 1965, as amended, by
repealing in its entirety Section 11—7, title
"County exempt from provisions of chapter 273, Acts
1894, as to veterinary medicine and surgery," all of
which sections are obsolete.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOR MONTGOMERY
COUNTY, MARYLAND, that -

Sec. 1. Section 1—2, title "Applicability of Code
with reference to Council," Section 1—8, title "Violation
of certain sections of Charter — Penalty," Section 1—9,
title "Same — not to affect other provisions, etc.," and
Section 1—10, title "Daylight saving time," of Chapter 1
of the Montgomery County Code 1965, as amended, are
hereby repealed in their entirety.

Sec. 2. Section 2—14, title "Work week," Section
2-84, title "Safety board," and Section 2-86, title
"Compensation of members of boards," of Chapter 2 of the
Montgomery County Code 1965, as amended, are hereby
repealed in their entirety.

Sec. 3. Section 11—7, title "County exempt from
provisions of Chapter 273, Acts 1894, as to veterinary
medicine and surgery," of Chapter 11 of the Montgomery
County Code 1965, as amended, is hereby repealed in its
entirety.
