COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

Graduation from a recognized high school and
seven (7) years responsible experience in the operation,
repair, maintenance and construction of water and sewer
facilities, including three (3) years in a supervisory
capacity; or any equivalent combination of education and
experience.

(80)   Chief, Bureau of Water and Sewer

Graduation from a college or university of
recognized standing with major work in Civil Engineering
and five (5) years experience in professional
engineering, three (3) years of which shall have been in
a supervisory capacity; or any equivalent combination of
education and experience.

Special Requirements: Possession of or
eligibility for a Professional Engineer's License.

(81)   Chief, Bureau of Administration

Graduation from college or university or
recognized standing with major work in public or business
administration; and eight (8) years of experience in
business administration, three (3) years of which shall
have been in a supervisory capacity; or any combination
of education and experience.

(82)   Central Alarm Dispatcher

Graduation from a recognized high school and
two (2) years clerical or business experience, preferably
including experience as a dispatcher; or any equivalent
combination of education and experience.

(83)   Chief Communication Dispatcher

Graduation from a recognize high school, five
(5) years of experience as a Dispatcher, including three
(3) years experience as a Central Alarm Operator; or any
equivalent combination of education and experience.

(84)   Photographer

Graduation from a recognized high school, or
General Equivalence Test, plus photographic experience to
cover knowledge and essential skills.

(85) Police Dispatcher

Graduation from a recognized high school or
General Equivalence Test. Experience in radio
communication preferred, but not essential.
