SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED,   That this
ordinance shall take effect forty—five (45) days from the
date it becomes law.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re—enact, with amendments,
Section 1-215(d) (2) of the Anne Arundel County Code
(1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1,
"Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article
II, "Classified Service", to add an "Ambulance"
category to the Firefighter II position; to change
the pay grades of Fire lieutenant. Fire captain.
Fire division chief and Fire deputy chief; and
matters generally related to the Fire Series of the
Public Safety Group of the Classified Service.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 1-215 (d) (2)
of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service" be, and it
is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

7313 Firefighter II
