PURCHASED, BY CONDEMNATION OR OTHERWISE, UNLESS ADEQUATE
FUNDS FOR THE SAME SHALL HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE
CAPITAL BUDGET, THE AWARD OF A CONDEMNATION JURY
NOTWITHSTANDING, NOTHING IN SECTIONS 1-300 THROUGH
1-316, INCLUSIVE, SHALL APPLY TO THE ACQUISITION OF REAL
ESTATE OR ANY INTEREST THEREIN. AIL SUCH PURCHASES
HEREIN PROVIDED FOR SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED IN ACCORDANCE
WITH BUDGETARY PROCEDURES AS SET FORTH IN THE CHARTER OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, AND ARTICLE 21, TITLE XII OF THE
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1966 REPLACEMENT VOLUME AND
1972 INTERIM SUPPLEMENT TO VOLUME 2).
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance
and necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, health, safety, welfare and property, and
being passed by the affirmative vote of five (5) members
of the County Council, the same shall take effect from
the date it becomes law.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re—enact, with amendments.
Section 1—215 (a) (3) of the Anne Arundel County Code
(1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1,
"Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article
II, "Classified Service", to redesignate the
position of Police communications operator of the
Office Machine Operation Series of the clerical and
Office Group of the Classified Service, and to
change the pay grade of Police communications
operators I and II of said series and group; and
matters generally related to the Office Machine
Operation Series of the Clerical and Office Group of
the Classified Service.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 1-215(a)(3)
of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel" Article II, "Classified Service", be, and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
