E. (true) 766.04 feet to a point 94.66 feet west of the
west line of Saratoga Avenue as shown on Plat of Lot 12,
Block B, Friendship Heights and recorded among said land
records in Plat Book 77, Plat 7779, thence along the
north line of said Lot 12, S. 65° 17'45" W. (true) 489.53
feet, thence along the west line S. 05° 43'40" E. (true)
98.50 feet to Willard Avenue, thence along said Avenue S.
84°16'20" W. (true) 107.57 feet to the place of
beginning. Containing 0.9585 of an acre of land; and

WHEREAS, The Town Council of the Town of Somerset
has, by a separate action introduced March 5, 1973 and
adopted April 2, 1973, resolved to initiate and proceed
with a process of annexation; and

WHEREAS, The Mayor of the Town of Somerset has
approved the resolution of initiation of annexation by
signature dated April 2, 1973;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND
COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF SOMERSET that the Charter of the
Town of Somerset be and it hereby is amended and the
corporate boundaries be and they hereby are enlarged to
be described in Section 59—2(b) as follows: The
corporate limits of said town shall be as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the western side of the
Georgetown and Rockville Turnpike Road (Wisconsin Avenue)
with the northerly line of the land formerly owned by
one Hilleary Ball, where a stone marked I. T. 5F. 7.
bears south 55 degrees, 52 minutes, 30 seconds west
magnetic, 382 feet, and running thence South 55 degrees,
52 minutes, 30 seconds west 382 feet to said stone marked
I.T. 5F. V., thence south 76 degrees, 56 minutes west,
1415 feet more or less to a point 94.66 feet westerly of
the West line of Saratoga Avenue as shown on Flat of Lot
12, Block B, Friendship Heights and recorded among said
Land Records in Plat Book 77 as Plat No. 7779; thence
along the North line of said Lot 12, South 65 degrees, 17
minutes, 45 seconds, West, true, 489.53 feet, thence
along the West line of said Lot 12, South 05 degrees, 43
minutes, 40 seconds Bast, true, 98.50 feet to Willard
Avenue; thence along said Avenue, South 84 degrees, 16
minutes, 20 seconds, West, true, 107.57 feet; thence with
the first line of a conveyance from Lester B. Cook, et
ux, to the Town of Somerset, Maryland, dated December 30,
1965 and recorded in Liber 3582 at Folio 429; North 67
degrees, 11 minutes, 20 seconds, West, true, 203.20
feet; thence South 76 degrees, 56 minutes, West, 903.46
feet more or less to the northeast edge of River Road;
thence with said edge of said road north 45 degrees, 25
minutes west about 460 feet to the fourth line of a
conveyance from Thomas Hyde, trustee, to John E. Beall
