MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

MAYOR SHALL RECEIVE A SALARY OF ONE HUNDRED SIXTY SEVEN
DOLLARS AND SIXTY-SEVEN CENTS PER MONTH FOR HIS SERVICES;
PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT FROM AND AFTER JULY 1, 1976, THE
MAYOR SHALL RECEIVE A SALARY OF TWO HUNDRED NINETY-ONE
DOLLARS AND SIXTY-SEVEN CENTS PER MONTH FOR HIS
SERVICES."

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SALISBURY, That the Mayor of the City of
Salisbury be and hereby is authorized and directed to
give notice hereof by posting and publication as required
by Article 23A of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland; and amendments herein proposed shall become
effective upon expiration of the time limit therein
contained;

THE ABOVE RESOLUTION was introduced at the regular
meeting of the Council of Salisbury, held on the 12th day
of November, 1973, and having been duly published as
required by law in the meantime was finally passed at its
meeting held on the 12th day of November, 1973.

SOMERSET
(Montgomery County)

ANNEXATION RESOLUTION, 1973

Title: A Resolution authorizing the annexation by

the Town of Somerset of approximately 0.9585

acre of land located immediately adjoining the

southern corporate boundary between Warwick

Place and Willard Avenue.

WHEREAS, The Town of Somerset is the sole owner in
fee simple of approximately 0.9585 acre of land which is
contiguous to and adjoining the corporate boundary at the
southern end of Warwick Place; and

WHEREAS, The area to be annexed is uninhabited, and
is described as follows: Beginning at a point on the
northerly side of Willard Avenue the beginning of 6.367
acres of land as described from A. Shoemaker to George E.
Howard and recorded among the Equity Records of
Montgomery County, Maryland in Judgment Record C.K.N. 50
at Folio 440, and later described in a conveyance from
F.S. Thomas to Lester B. Cook in Liber 374 at Folio 343,
thence leaving said Avenue with the first and part of the
