RIVERDALE

Highway, preceeding westerly in the center of East—West
Highway to the boundary line of Riverdale, thence south
along the boundary, crossing Riverdale Road, thence
southerly and easterly and following the south side of
Greenway Drive to Kenilworth Avenue (formerly Edmonston
Road), thence following the center line of Kenilworth
Avenue to the north property line of Lot 1, Block 1, East
Riverdale, and continuing westerly on the north side and
rear of properties facing on north side of Spring Lane,
i.e., Lots 3 through 8, Block 1, East Riverdale, to the
eastern side of 54th Avenue, thence north on a line
through the center of the right—of—way of 54th Avenue to
the center of East-West Highway, the place of beginning.

Ward 6

Beginning at a point at the center of East—West
Highway and its intersection with the right—of—way of
54th Avenue (formerly Gretta Avenue), thence west on a
center line of East—West Highway to the boundary of
Riverdale coinciding with the eastern boundary of
Maryland—National Capital Park and Planning Commission's
parkland, thence northerly and easterly following the
boundary of Riverdale to the center line of Kenilworth
Avenue (formerly Edmonston Road), thence south following
the corporate boundary of Riverdale to the property line
- north side of Lot 1, Block 1, East Riverdale, thence
westerly on the north side and rear of properties facing
on north side of Spring Lane, i.e., Lots 3 through 8,
Block 1, East Riverdale, to the eastern edge of 54th
Avenue, thence north on a line through the center of the
right—of—way of 54th Avenue to the place of beginning.

63—5.2 Councilmen

(a)    There shall be one Councilman elected from
each of the six wards.

(b)    At the regular Town election the first Monday
in Hay 1975, Councilmen from Wards, 1, 2, and 4, shall be
elected for two years and for every two years thereafter;
Councilmen from Wards 3, 5, and 6 shall be elected for
terms of 1 year each serving until the regular town
election the first Monday in May 1976 when they shall be
elected for terms of two years and for every two years
thereafter.
