MUNICIPAL CHAPTERS

of beginning.

Ward 3

Beginning at a point in the center of the
intersection of Riverdale Road (formerly Jefferson
Avenue) and 48th Avenue (formerly Arthur Avenue) as the
same are laid out in the plat hereinbefore mentioned,
thence on a line drawn through the center of Riverdale
Road to 49th Avenue (formerly Columbia Avenue) thence
south and westerly along the rear of the properties
facing on Riverdale Road to the south, namely Lots 1, c,
d, e, f, and g, Block 48, and Lots 1 through 10, Block
19, Riverdale Park Subdivision, to the western boundary
of Maryland—National Capital Park and Planning
Commission's parkland, more particularly the eastern edge
of Riverside Drive which is the boundary of the Town of
Riverdale, thence southwesterly following that boundary
of Riverdale, turning west at the southern edge of
Riverdale Drive, thence northwesterly along the eastern
edge of Lafayette Place to the southeast corner of Lot 5.,
Block 60, thence west to the B&O RR right—of—way being
still the boundary of Riverdale, thence northerly along
the eastern edge of the B&O RR right—of—way to Oglethorpe
Street (formerly Grant Avenue) thence easterly in a line
drawn through the center of Oglethorpe Street to 48th
Avenue, thence northerly on a line drawn through the
center of 48th Avenue to the place of beginning.

Ward 4

Beginning at a point in the center of the
intersection of Baltimore Avenue and Queensbury Road
(formerly Madison Avenue) thence in a northerly line from
the center of Baltimore Avenue to the corporate limits of
the Town of Riverdale at East—West Highway, thence
proceeding westerly along the East—West Highway, thence
southerly at 43rd Street following the corporate
boundaries of Riverdale easterly and southerly until the
line intersects with B&O RR right—of—way at the rear of
properties facing Madison (formerly Pierce Avenue) on the
south, thence across B&O RR and northerly along east side
of B&O RR right—of—way to Oglethorpe Street (formerly
Grant Avenue), thence easterly on a line through the
center of Oglethorpe Street to 48th Avenue (formerly
Arthur Avenue), thence northerly on a line through the
center of 48th to Queensbury Road, then westerly on a
line through the center of Queensbury Road to the place
of beginning.

Beginning at a point at the intersection of the
center of the right—of—way of 54th Avenue and East—West
