MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

charter provisions of the Commissioners of Poolesville,
but no municipal services and no municipal facilities
shall be available in said area unless and until
installation and/or construction of such facilities are
constructed or installed and paid for by the residents
therein and/or the owners thereof, or the heirs,
successors or assigns of either or both, provided that
the then existing facilities of the Commissioners of
Poolesville are adequate for their extension to said area
and persons.

Effective January 1, 1974

WHEREAS, not less than twenty-five (25%) percent of
the owners of the assessed valuation of the real
property described below have consented to a resolution
presented to the Commissioners of Poolesville to annex
said property, and

WHEREAS, said parcel of land is contiguous to the
existing municipal boundaries of the Town of Poolesville,
and

WHEREAS, the resolution for annexation was duly
advertised in accordance with Article 23A Section 19 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume),
and

WHEREAS, the subject property is unimproved and
there are no residents or registered voters living
thereon, and

WHEREAS, the Planning Board for the Commissioners of
Poolesville recommended the approval of the said
resolution for reasons stated in an opinion addressed to
the Commissioners of Poolesville which is on file with
the Town Clerk,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS
OF POOLESVILLE that the Resolution proposing a change of
boundaries as requested by the Resolution be approved,
and, further

BE IT RESOLVED that the existing boundaries of the
municipal corporation known as "The Commissioners of
Poolesville", being the Town of Poolesville, Maryland,
be, and they are hereby extended to include an area as
follows:

PART OF THE EUGENE B. CASEY PROPERTY, POOLESVILLE
(No. 3) ELECTION DISTRICT, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD.
