Governor of Virginia to join with him in the appointment
of an interstate committee charged with responsibility to
develop recommendations for legislative and regulatory
actions which will eliminate or minimize disparities in
the laws and regulations governing the catching of
finfish and crustaceans in Chesapeake Bay and its
tributaries, and the possession of same; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be sent by
the Secretary of the State of Maryland to the Governor of
Maryland, the Secretary of Natural Resources of Maryland,
and the Potomac River Fisheries Commission.

A House Joint Resolution concerning
Wicomico County — State's Attorney
FOR the purpose of calling for the establishment of a
committee to determine if Wicomico County needs a
full—time State's Attorney and providing for the
operation of the Committee.
WHEREAS, The needs of Wicomico County have been
constantly changing; and
WHEREAS, There may be a need for a fulltime State's
Attorney in Wicomico County to insure the proper
functioning of the criminal justice system; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That a
committee be established consisting of the resident judge
of the Circuit Court of Wicomico County, the resident
judge of the District Court of Wicomico County, the
president of the county bar association, a member of the
County Council appointed by the Council, a person from
the general public selected by the other members of the
committee, and the present State's Attorney, who shall be
a nonvoting member; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a committee chairman shall be elected
by the committee; and be it further
RESOLVED, That [[the committee shall recommend the
