STUDENTS FOR THE PURPOSES OF FUNDING.]]

(J-1) THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF A COMMUNITY COLLEGE
MAY WAIVE THE TUITION CHARGE OF A PERSON WHO HAS ATTAINED

THE AGE OF 60 YEARS AND WHO IS A RESIDENT OF THE STATE

FOR ENROLLMENT IN THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE SERVING HIS

RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT FOR ANY CLASS OFFERED BY THAT
COMMUNITY COLLEGE WHICH HAS AT LEAST TEN REGULARLY
ENROLLED STUDENTS. SUCH PERSONS SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE

COMPUTATION OF__FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT STUDENTS FOR THE

PURPOSES OF FUNDING UNDER SECTION 7 OF THIS ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 35(c) of Article 77 - Public
Education, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
