Regular Session of the General Assembly)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 5—606 of Article - Estates and
Trusts, Annotated Code of Maryland (As enacted by Chapter
11 (S.B. 133) of the 1974 Regular Session of the General
Assembly) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Estates and Trusts
5-606.

In lieu of all other fees, costs and charges, the
register shall receive a fee of 1 percent of the value of
the small estate, but not less than $2, for all services
performed in connection with each small estate, plus (1)
a fee of [25] 50 cents for each certified copy of the
entire proceeding, and (2) the fee for probate of a will,
if any.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
