SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 240AA(c-1) be and it is hereby
added to Article 48A — Insurance Code, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1973
Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 48A — Insurance Code
240AA.

(C-1) IN ADDITION TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF SUBSECTION
(B) OF THIS SECTION, AN INSURER SHALL PROMPTLY SEND TO
THE MOTOR VEHICLE ADMINISTRATION A [[CERTIFIED]] COPY OF
ANY NOTICE TO CANCEL OR NOT RENEW A MOTOR VEHICLE
LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

Kent County — Alcoholic Beverages

FOR the purpose of permitting in Kent County the sale of
alcoholic beverages under any class of license
between certain hours on New Year's Day, and
generally relating to the sale and consumption of
alcoholic beverages on New Year's Day in Kent County
and clarifying the language.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.
