(House Bill 972)
AN ACT concerning

Personal Representatives and Special Administrators

FOR the purpose of including income from fee simple real
property in the property subject to administration
for the purposes of computing compensation for
personal representatives and special administrators,
and generally relating to the estates of decedents.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article — Estates and Trusts

Section 7-601(b)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter 11 (S.B. 133) of the
1974 Regular Session of the General Assembly)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 7-601(b) of Article - Estates and
Trusts, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (As enacted by
Chapter 11 (S.B. 133) of the 1974 Regular Session of the
General Assembly) be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Estates and Trusts
7-601.

(b) Unless the will provides a larger measure of
compensation, upon petition filed in reasonable detail by
the personal representative or special administrator the
court may allow the Commissions it considers appropriate.
The Commissions shall not exceed those computed in
accordance with the table in this subsection.
