RECOGNIZE, AND ACCEPT REPORTS, STATEMENTS, AND SERVICES
SUBMITTED OR RENDERED BY OPTOMETRISTS, WITHIN THE SCOPE
OF OPTOMETRY AS DEFINED BY STATE LAW.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

Rules and Regulations — Crabbing Industry

FOR the purpose of restricting the authority of the
Department of Natural Resources to adopt additional
rules and regulations relating to the crabbing
industry prior to a certain date.

Section 4-803(c)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 4—803(c) be and it is hereby
added to Article — Natural Resources, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1974 Volume) to read as follows:

(C) THE DEPARTMENT MAY NOT ADOPT ANY ADDITIONAL
RULES RELATING TO DAILY CATCH REPORTS OF THE CRABBING
INDUSTRY PRIOR TO JULY 1, 1974.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act

is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and

necessary for the immediate preservation of the public

health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay
