Commissioners. HOWEVER, BEFORE ESTABLISHING OR ALTERING
ANY LICENSE FEE, THE CALVERT COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL
ADVERTISE THE PROPOSED FEE FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE WEEKS IN
AT LEAST [[TWO]] THREE NEWSPAPERS OF GENERAL CIRCULATION

IN [[THEIR RESPECTIVE]] CALVERT COUNTY. [Beginning with

the year 1973 and each year thereafter all] ALL dog
licenses will expire on June 30. Any license valid on
July 1, [1972] 1973, shall remain valid through June 30,
[1973] 1974.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay
vote supported by three—fifths of all the members elected
to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the
same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
