SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 45(d) (2) of Chapter 780 of the
Laws of Maryland, of 1959, being also Section 85-45(d)(2)
of the Public Local Laws of Montgomery County being
Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1972 Edition), being also Section 59-50(d)(2) of the
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County being Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1963
Edition and 1967 Supplement) be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
Chapter 780
4 5 (85-45 and 59-50).
(d)(2) Any such bonds shall be issued under the
hand and seal of the commission, BY MANUAL OR FACSIMILE
SIGNATURE and shall be guaranteed as to the payment of
principal and interest in the following manner: In the
event that the commission resolves to expend the proceeds
of any series of such bonds throughout the district, the
[said] bonds shall be guaranteed to the payment of
principal and interest by [the county commissioners of]
Prince George's County and by Montgomery County. The
guarantee shall be endorsed on each of [said] THE bonds
in the following language: "The payment of interest when
due and of the principal on maturity is guaranteed by
Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, Maryland."
[Such] THIS endorsement shall be signed BY MANUAL OR
FACSIMILE SIGNATURE on each of the bonds by [the
president and secretary or the clerk or other executive
head of the county commissioners or] the county
[executive] EXECUTIVES of Montgomery [County] AND PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTIES[, as the case may be,] within [twenty]
