Acts of 1972, to change the specifications of group
homes from 10 beds to 6—8 beds; repealing and
re—enacting with amendments Sections 5(D)(1)(a),
5(D)(7)(a), 5 (D) (9) (a) and 5 (E) (2) of Chapter 195 of
the Laws of 1973, amending the General Construction
Loan of 1973 with particular reference to the
programs set out therein at page 286 of the Laws of
1973 for Calvert Cliffs State Park, at page 287 of
the Laws of 1973 for Greenbrier State Park, at page
288 of the Laws of 1973 for Patapsco State Park and
at page 291 of the Laws of 1973 for the Fish
Management Administration; repealing and re—enacting
with amendments Section 5(1)(1)(a) of Chapter 195 of
the Laws of 1973, to change the specifications of
group homes from 10 beds to 6—8 beds; repealing and
re-enacting, with amendments. Section 5(0)(2)(c) and
5(P)(3)(a) of Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973,
amending the General Construction Loan of 1973 with
particular reference to an appropriation therein at
page 305 of the Laws of 1973 for the University of
Maryland, College Park, redesignating a portion of
that appropriation to provide for equipment for the
addition to the Industrial Education Building, and
at page 309 of the Laws of 1973 for Coppin State
College, redesignating a portion of that
appropriation to provide for equipment for the
addition to the Library; and repealing and
re-enacting with amendments, Section 5(L)(3)(i) of
Chapter 179 of the Acts of 1972, redesignatinq a
portion of the appropriation for the University of
Maryland, Baltimore City Campus, "Construction of an
addition to Howard Hall" to supplement an
appropriation for said University, Baltimore City
Campus for "Construction of a School of Medicine
Teaching Facility" as shown on page 306 of the Acts
of 1973 and modifying Section 8 of Chapter 195 of
the Acts of 1973.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter
101 of the Acts of 1970 and Chapter 179 of the Acts of
1972, be and they are hereby waived, insofar as they
impose a time for placing under contract the items in
Section 5(H)(1) of Chapter 101 of the Acts of 1970, and
found on page 338 of the Laws of 1970, making available
$580,000 for the State Department of Juvenile Services,
for the construction of a 30—bed Detention Center in
Montgomery County, and in section 5(H)(1)(a) in Chapter
179 of the Acts of 1972, and found on page 508 of the
Acts of 1972, making available $320,000 for the State
Department of Juvenile Services, to supplement the
appropriation for the "construction of a 30—bed Detention
Center in Montgomery County" as shown on page 338 of the
