roadway on south campus; and to extend for two years
the period during which the aforesaid items and
projects may be placed under contract; to waive the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 101 of the Acts
of 1970, as amended by Chapter 229 of the Acts of
1972, said section relating to the time by which
projects contained in the General Construction Loan
of 1970 must be placed under contract, insofar as
the provisions of said section relate to an item
contained in said Act for the University of
Maryland, Baltimore County Campus, for construction
of a swimming pool addition to the Physical
Education Building; to waive the provisions of
Section 10 of Chapter 10 of Chapter 101 of the Acts
of 1970, as amended by Chapter 253 of the Acts of
1972, and any other law relating to the time by
which projects included in Item 17.01.00.01 of
Section 1 of Chapter 100 of the Acts of 1970, "Board
of Public Works — Capital Appropriation" (said Item
designation also being known as 11—23.05.02.71) must
be placed under contract insofar as they relate to
the following project included in said Item and
described in the Maryland State Budget as Board of
Public Works: Project number 1.01, $60,000 for the
University of Maryland, College Park, planning and
preparation of detailed plans and specifications for
a State Board of Agriculture Laboratory Building,
including air conditioning; to waive the provisions
of Section 10 of Chapter 101 of the Acts of 1970, as
amended by Chapter 229 of the Acts of 1972, relating
to the time by which projects contained in the
General Construction Loan of 1970 must be placed
under contract insofar as the provisions of said
section relate to an item contained in Section
5(A)(7) of said Act for the Board of Public Works,
to provide for study by the Department of Public
Improvements to determine the feasibility of
renovating the War Memorial Building — Baltimore
City; repealing and re—enacting with amendments
Sections 5(D)(5)(a) and 5(D)(7)(a) of Chapter 179 of
the Acts of 1972, amending the General Construction
Loan of 1972 with particular reference to the
programs set out therein at page 502 of the Laws of
1972 for Point Lookout State Park and at page 503 of
the Laws of 1972 for Tuckahoe State Park; waiving
the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 179 of the
Acts of 1972 said section relating to the time by
which projects contained in the General Construction
Loan of 1972 must be placed under contract, insofar
as the provisions of this section relate to the
items contained in Sections 5(D)(5)(a) and
5 (D) (7) (a) of Chapter 179 of the Acts of 1972 as
amended by this Act; repealing and re—enacting with
amendments Sections 5(G)(1)(b) of Chapter 179 of the
