(I) THE PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION
MAY BY A SEPARATE BUDGET ITEM INCLUDE IN THE BUDGET A
SUMMER PROGRAM WHICH MAY EXTEND INTO THE FOLLOWING BUDGET
YEAR. ANY SUMS SO APPROVED IN THE ANNUAL BUDGET SHALL
NOT LAPSE UNTIL THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL TERM IN THE
FOLLOWING YEAR.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

State Employees — Law-Enforcement Employees

FOR the purpose of [[providing that overtime compensation
for law—enforcement employees of the Maryland State
Police be computed for work in excess of a normal
eight hour daily work day and, under certain
conditions, for work during a regularly scheduled
off-duty day.]] changing the provisions for
computation of overtime paid to law enforcement
employees of the Maryland State Police and the
Department of Natural Resources and changing the
persons eligible for this overtime.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.
