SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 5.2.(E)(1) of Chapter 425 of the Acts of 1971,
Section 5.2.(F)(l)(b) of Chapter 179 of the Acts of 1972, and Section 5.2.(F)(7) of
Chapter 179 of the Acts of 1972, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

5.2.(E) Department of Mental Hygiene.
(1) Headquarters:

Planning and preparation of preliminary
plans and specifications for a Regional
Institute for Children [(140-bed)] in-
cluding air conditioning............... 50,000

5.2.(F) Department of Mental Hygiene

(1)(b) Contingent upon preliminary plans
being first approved by the Department
of General Services and the Department
of State Planning - design and prepara-
tion of detailed plans and specifications
for a Regional Institute for Children
[[(140 beds)]] including air condition-
ing, Rockville area.....................130,000.

5.2.(F)Department of Mental Hygiene.

(7) Regional Institute for Children and

(a) Contingent upon approval of prelimin-
ary plans by the Department of General

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.
