2226                                County Local Laws

(K) PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY AND PUBLIC SEWERAGE FA-
CILITIES SHALL BE SUPPLIED TO EACH SITE IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PLUMBING CODE PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO MO-
BILE HOME PARKS.

(1) Each site shall be provided with a sewer receptacle at least
four (4) inches in diameter, which shall be connected to
receive the waste

from the shower, bathtub, flush toilet, lavatory and kitchen sink of the

mobile home harbored on such site and shall be connected to discharge

the mobile home waste into a public sewer and disposal plant or septic

tank system of such construction and in such manner as may be approved

by the Board of Health. Receptacle shall be located so as to be assessable

from the side of the unit.

(m) (L) Adequate storage facilities shall be located on or conveni-
ently near each mobile home site for the active storage of outdoor equip-
ment, furniture and tools and for the inactive storage of such other mate-
rials as is used only seasonably or infrequently. Storage facilities shall be
designed in such a manner that will enhance the appearance of the park
and shall be constructed of suitable weather-resistant materials appro-
priate under the use contemplated.

(n) (M) Suitable laundry facilities shall be provided in each mobile
home or on its site or in a central or in decentralized common facilities
or in a combination of these adequate to meet the needs of the park occu-
pants.

16.406—Service Buildings

(a)    Service buildings, if provided, housing sanitation facilities shall
be permanent structures complying with all applicable regulations and
statutes regulating buildings, electrical installations and plumbing and
sanitation systems.

(b)    The service buildings shall be well lighted at all times of the
day and night, shall be well ventilated with screened openings, shall be
constructed of such moisture-proof material as shall permit repeated
cleaning and washing, and shall be maintained at a temperature of at
least 68 degrees F. during the period from October 1st to May 1st. The
floors of the service building shall be of water impervious material.

(c)    All service buildings and the grounds of the park shall be main-
tained in a clean, attractive condition and kept free of any condition which
may menace the health of any occupant or create a public nuisance.

16.407—Garbage Receptacles

Metal garbage cans with tight-fitting covers shall be required in quan-
tities adequate to permit disposal of all garbage and rubbish. Garbage
cans shall be located on the mobile home site. The can shall be kept in a
sanitary condition at all times. Garbage and rubbish shall be collected
and disposed of as frequently as may be necessary to insure that the
garbage container shall not overflow.

16.408—Fire Protection

Service buildings shall be equipped with fire extinguishers, and the
park shall be equipped with water hydrants of such type, size and num-
ber and so located within the park as to satisfy all applicable regulations
of the Fire Department. No open fire shall be permitted. APPROACHES
TO ALL SITES SHALL BE KEPT CLEAR FOR FIRE FIGHTING.
