       On the Eight day of October 1765 Came before us the Subscribers two
       of his Lordships Justices of the peace for Frederick County the
       within named John Row and did acknowledge the within Instrument
       of Writing to be his Act and deed and the Lands and
       premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the
       within named David Ross his Heirs Executors Administrators
       and Assigns according to the purport true intent and meaning
       of the same deed and the Act of Assembly in such cases
       made and provided At the same time came Marion the
       Wife of the said John Row and being by us privately examined
       out of the hearing of her said husband Acknowledged her right
       of dower to the said Land and premises to be also the right
       and property of the said David Ross his Heirs Executors
       Administrators and Assigns and declared that she made
       the said Acknowledgement freely and willingly without
       being compelled thereto by her said husband or throw fear or
       threats from him or fear of his displeasure and according to the
       form of the Act of Assembly in Such cases made and provided

                                                I Do hereby Certify that Charles
       Jones and Andrew Heugh Gentleman before whom the within
       Deed is Certified to have been Duly Acknowledged was at
       the time of taking the Same and still are Justices of the peace
       for the County aforesaid duly Authorized and sworn and that due
       faith and Credit is and ought to be given to all things
       them Certified in Manner Aforesaid  In Testimony
       whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Affixed the
       publick Seal of said County this 10 day of October
