631 Ex.d This Indenture made this seventh Day of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty five Between Leonard Greenwell of S.t Marys County Planter and Winifiel his Wife of the one Part and John Booth of the same County Planter of the other part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the sum of five Shillings Current Money to the said Leonard Greenwell and Winified his Wife in hand at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents by the said John Booth well and truly paid the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged ^they^ the said Leonard Greenwell and Winified his Wife have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell unto the same John Booth his Executors Administrators and Assigns all those Two Tracts or Parcells of Land lying in the County aforesaid Part of Hanover Addition and known by the name of Winifields Mount the one beginning at a Shrub White Oak standing by a Fence called Greenwells Fence running thence East forty perches to the said Greenwells spring thence East thirty five Degrees South one hundred and forty three perches to a bounded Oak standing in the first Line of Hanover's Addition then West ^South West^ forty eight perches thence North seventy Degrees West one hundred and forty Two perches then to the Beginning containing fifty one acres of Land more or Less and also one other Tract or parcell of plantable Land part of Hanovers Addition beginning at a bounded Hickory standing in the Lane next Mary Peaks running thence East seventy seven perches to the aforesaid Greenwells Spring thence North thirty six Degrees west fifty four perches with the Branch to Garmans Run with the said Run to Baks Mill thence to the Beginning Containing Twenty five Acres of Land more or Less together with all the Houses Edifices Buildings Improvements Ways Waters Warter Courses orchards Woods Underwoods Priviledges Commodities Advantages and Appurtenances to the same Appertaining or in any wise belonging and the Revertion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and profits of all and singular the said Premisses and every Part or Parcell thereof with their and every of their Rights Members and Appurtenances To have and to hold the same Tract or parcell of Lands and all and Singular other the premisses herein before mentioned or intended to be hereby bargained or sold with their and every of their Rights members and Appurtenances unto the same John Booth his Executors Administrators and Assignes from the Day next before the Day of the Date of these presents for and during the Term of one whole year from thence next ensuing fully to be compleat and ended To the Intent and purpose that by virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession the said John Both may be in the actual possession of all and Singular the said hereby bargained premisses with (their) |
