547 Ninety six Perches to the Land called Proctors Park then Bounding on the said Land runing East North East two hundred and fifty perches to a Bounded ^red^ Oak of the said Land then North West seven hundred and Twenty perches to a bounded white Oak on a Branch then South bounding on the said Branch One hundred and forty perches then Bounding on the said River and a Straight line to the first bounded Tree Containing and now laid out for seven hundred and Seventeen Acres more or less being part of a Tract of Land called Millford lying and being on and near Maggothy River in the said County together with and singular the Houses Edifices Buildings Profits Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Tract of Land belonging or appurtaining and also all the Estate Right Title Interest Property Claim and demand whatsoever of him the said William Woodward of in and to the said Tract of Land and to every part or parcel thereof with their and every of their appurtenances To have and to hold the said Tract of Land and all and singular the Premisses hereby granted or Conveyed mentioned or Intended to be granted or Conveyed with its appurtenances unto the said William Garrett Woodward Jun.r his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and Behoof of him the said William Garrett Woodward Jun.r his Heirs and assigns for ever and to and for no other use meaning Intent or purpose whatsoever In wittness whereof and the foregoing Premisses I have hereunto sett my Hand and Seal this 7.th day of May One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty five W.m Woodward seal Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us Is.c Dakein Matthias Hammond On the Back of the aforegoing Deed it is thus Written Viz.t Received the day and Year within mentioned of the within named William Garrett Woodward Jun.r the sum Five shillings sterling Money of Great Britain being the full Consideration Money within mentioned W.m Woodward Test Is.c Dakein Matthias Hammond On the 7.th day of May 1765 then came William Woodward before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland party to the within Deed and acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed and the Land and premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named William Garrett Woodward Jun.r his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and meaning of the within Deed and the act of Assembly in such cases made and provided Geo Steuart Received the 30.th May 1765 of M.r William Garrett Woodward the sum of Fourteen shillings and Eight pence half penny sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Land by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esquire his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Benj.a Beall Recorded the 31.st day of May 1765 7 sides Ex.d To All to whom these Presents shall come I George Swope of Accomake County in the Province of Virginia send Greeting Whereas I am indebted unto William Buchanan in the sum of Six hundred and Seventeen Pounds Current Money and also in the Sum of One thousand six hundred and ninety seven Pounds (Current) |
