       pounds Seven Shillings sterling being the full Consideration money within mentioned
       Testis                                                                                          Daniel Carroll

       March 28.th 1765 then came one Daniel Carroll party to the within Deed before me one of
       his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Deed and all
       the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the property of Charles Carroll Junior
       his Heirs and Assigns according to an act of Assembly in such Case made and provided

       1765 April 8.th Received of M.r Charles Carroll Jun.r three pounds eleven Shillings and
       Eight pence one half penny sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the
       alienation fine on the within Land by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd
       Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General         Benj.a Beall
       Recorded the 10.th April 1765

       I Walter Battison do swear that I will not for Lucre or Malice delay any person or
       persons applying to me for any Business belonging to the Office I Officiate in and that I will
       not directly or Indirectly ask demand take or Receive from or Charge to any person or persons
       to my own use Except my Salary from my principal any fee or Reward whatsoever for any
       Service I shall do as Clerk of the said Office and also that in making out the Office Fees
       that I will not wittingly or willingly charge other or higher Fees than Limitted by the Act
       Entitled An Act for amending the Staple of Tobacco for preventing Frauds in his Majestys
       Customs and for limitation of Officers Fees
                                  Sworn to before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann.ll County

Ex.d This Indenture made this thirtieth day of March in the year of our Lord Seventeen
       hundred and sixty five between William Aldridge of Frederick County and Province of
       Maryland of the one part and Nicholas Aldridge of Ann Arundel County and Province
       aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Aldridge for and in Consideration
       of the sum of One hundred pounds sterling Money to him in hand paid by the said Nicholas
       Aldridge at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he
       doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisfied Contented and paid Hath
       Given Granted Bargained sold aliened Released and Confirmed and by these presents Doth
       Give Grant Bargain sell Alien Release and Confirm unto him the said Nicholas Aldridge
       his Heirs and Assigns for ever All his the said William Aldridges Right Title Claim and
       property of in and to all them two parcels of Land as hereafter described being part of
       one Tract or Parcel of Land Called Parrs Range and part of one other Tract or Parcel of
       Land called Favour and Ease being & lying scytiuate partly in Baltimore & partly in
       Frederick Countys Begining for that part of Parrs Range at the End of two hundred and
       Ninety six perches of the first line of the Original Tract which said Line is North three hundred
       perches & Runing thence North four perches to the End thereof Thence North forty two Degrees
       East one hundred and thirty Perches then North forty Eight Degrees West forty Perches
       thence South forty two Degreas East One hundred and forty Nine perches then South
