535 Titles Troubles Charges and Incumbrances whatsoever In witness whereof the said James Richard hath hereto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written James Richard seal signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us J Hepburn, W.m Thornton On the back of the aforegoing Deed it is thus Written Received the fourth day of April 1765 of the within named John Beale Bordley the sum of One hundred and Eighty one pounds and four Shillings £181 4 ster sterling Money being the Consid.n Money within mentioned to be by him paid to me Witness James Richard J Hepburn W.m Thornton Maryland fs Be it Remembred that on the fourth day of April in the year of our Lord Christ Seventeen hundred and Sixty five James Richard of Baltimore County Gentleman party to the within Indenture came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Indenture to be his Act and Deed and the several Lands and Premisses within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named John Beale Bordley his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the purport and true Intent and meaning of the same Indenture before J Hepburn Recorded the 5.th day of April 1765 10 1/2 Ex.d This Indenture made this Twenty eighth day of March in the year of our Lord God & One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty five Between Daniel Carroll of upper Malbro sent in Prince Georges County Merch.t of the one part and Charles Carroll Junior of Dudington Mannour in the said County Esq.r of the other part Witnesseth that the said Daniel Carroll for and in Consideration of the sum eight hundred and Six pounds Seven shillings sterling to him in hand paid the receipt whereof the said Daniel Carroll doth hereby acknowledge and of every part thereof doth exonerate acquit and discharge the said Charles Carroll Junior his Heirs Executors and Administrators also for divers other valuable Considerations him thereunto moving hath given Granted Bargained sold and made over and by these Presents doth for himself and his Heirs give grant Bargain and sell alien Enfeoff Confirm and make over unto the said Charles his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that parcell or Tract of Land called Aiz La Chappelle lying and Situate in Frederick County Beginning at a Bounded White Oak the beginning Tree of a Tract of Land called partnership and running thence South fifty seven Degrees East One hundred and forty perches thence South Thirty six degrees East One hundred and Seventy six perches thence South forty Degrees West Ninety four perches thence south Eighty Seven Degrees West three hundred and Sixty four perches thence North seventy seven degrees West One hundred & forty perches thence North fifteen Degrees West Two hundred perches thence North Sixty Eight Degrees East seventy five perches thence North thirty Degrees West One hundred and sixteen perches thence North Ten degrees East One hundred and thirty four perches thence North sixty six degrees East eight perches thence North Twenty Six degrees East forty three perches thence North West eighty perches thence North fourteen Degrees West two hundred and Twenty perches thence North forty Eight Degrees East One hundred and |
