       eleven Shillings and one Penny Current Money of the within named Thomas Snowden
       it being the Consideration within mentioned as Witness my hand

                                           Memorandum that on the twenty eighth day of February
       One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty five the within named Lewis Duvall
       Came before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged
       the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and that
       the Servant and Creatures within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of
       the within mentioned Thomas Snowden his Heirs and Assigns According to
       the True intent and meaning of the within Writing   Acknowledged before

Ex.d   This Indenture made this Twenty seventh day of February Anno Domini
       Seventeen hundred and Sixty five  Between Ninian Edmonston of
       Frederick County and Province of Maryland Planter of the one Part
       and David Ross of Prince Georges County and Province aforesaid Surgeon
       of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Ninian Edmonston for and in
       Consideration of the sum of Five Shillings Currency to him in hand Paid
       by the said David Ross the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath Given
       Granted Bargained and Sold Aliened released enfeoffed and Confirmed
       and by these Presents he the said Ninian Edmondston doth Give Grant
       Bargain and Sell Alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto the said
       David Ross his Heirs and Assigns all that Part of a Tract or Parcell of
       Land in Frederick County aforesaid called Sugar Bottom which said
       Tract was Surveyed for the said Ninian Edmonston on or about the 2.d
       day of January 1759 by Virtue of a Warrant of Resurvey on Part of a
       Tract of Land called Prestons March which Part of Sugar Bottom hereby
       Conveyed is bounded as followeth to wit Begining at the Original
       Begining of the said Tract called Sugar Bottom and running thence
