       amply and effectually to all intents Constructions and Purposes as he the said Constituent
       might or could do if Personally Present With Power to Substitute one or more
       Attorneys under him with like or limitted Power and the same again to revoke
       He the said Matthias Gale hereby ratifying Confirming and holding for Good
       and Valid all and whatsoever the said Andrew Mein or his Substitute ^or Substitutes^ shall
       Lawfully do or cause to be Done in or about the Premises by Virtue of these Presents
       Thus done and Passed in London aforesaid in Presence of the under Written Witnesses

       first duly Stampt) in the Presence of
                Thomas Ballard      In Preemissorum fidem
                Thomas Denwood

          On the Back of the aforegoing Power of Attorney was thus Written Viz.t
      
       Maryland Somerset fs.t   Be it remembered that on the ninth day of
       October in the Year of our Lord God Seventeen hundred and Sixty four came
       before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices for the County aforesaid the
       above Subscribed Thomas Ballard and Thomas Denwood and Severally made
       Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they saw the above Matthias
       Gale sign Seal execute and deliver the above Instrument of Writing and heard
       him Acknowledge the same as his Act and Deed to the above Andrew Mein
       Merchant and that they the said Thomas Ballard and Thomas Denwood
       Subscribed the same as Evidences thereto

Ex.d      This Indenture made this Twenty sixth day of February in the Year
       of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty five  Between Thomas Browning
       of Kent County Merchant of the one Part and James Dick and Thomas
       Richardson ^of Ann Arundel County Merchants of the other Part Witnesseth^ the receipt whereof County Merchants of the other Part Witnesseth
       that the said Thomas Browning for and in Consideration of
       the sum of Three hundred and twenty five Pounds Sterling Money
       to him in hand Paid by the said James Dick and Thomas Richardson
