459 of him the said Archibald Edmondston his Heirs and Assigns of in and to the said Moyety or half Part and every Part thereof To have and to hold the said Moiety and half Part and Parcell thereof with the Appurtenances unto the said Alexander Cumming his Heirs and Assigns to the only Proper use and behoof of him the said Alexander Cumming his Heirs and Assigns forever In Witness whereof the Party to this Indenture hath set his Hand and Seal the date first above mentioned Archibald Edmonston j.r S Sealed and Delivered in Presence of us Jn.o Cooke On the back of the aforegoing Deed was Christ.r Lowndes thus Written Viz.t Maryland Prince Georges County August 27.th 1764 then came before us Two of his Lordships Justices of the County Court in the Province afd the within named Archibald Edmonston who Acknowledged the within and aforegoing Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed Jn.o Cooke Christ.r Lowndes Maryland fs.t 27.th August 1764 Then received of the within named Alexander Cumming the sum of Five shillings Currency being the Consideration Money within mentioned as Witness my hand Test Archibald Edmonston jun.r Jn.o Cooke Christ.r Lowndes Prince Georges County I hereby Certifie that the above mentioned John Cooke and Christopher Lowndes Gent before Whom the Acknowledgment was taken is now and was at the time LS of Taken Two of his Lordships the Right Honourable the Lord proprietarys Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid Lawfully Authorized |
