       the Appurtenances and every Part and Parcell thereof to him the said Thomas Johnson
       Junior his Heirs and Assigns against all Manner of Persons whatsoever shall and
       will Warrant and forever defend by these Presents and further that he the said
       William Pinkston hath not done Committed or suffered any Act Matter or thing
       whereby the said Tract or Parcell of Land or any Part thereof is or can be
       in any Manner bound burthened Charged or incumbred In Witness whereof
       the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their Hands
       and Affixed their Seals the day and Year first above Written

                                                   On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t

       Received on the day and Year first within Written of and from the within     
       named Thomas Johnson Junior the sum of Seventy Pounds Current Money
       of Pensylvania being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him
       Paid to me

                                              October the ninth 1764 Came before me the Subscriber one
       of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named William Pinkston and
       Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and
       the Land and Premises therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of
       the within named Thomas Johnson Junior his Heirs and Assigns forever
       According to the true intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act
       of Assembly in such Case made and Provided

       Recorded the 9.th of Oct.o 1764

       1764 Oct.o 21.st Received of Thomas Johnson Junior Esq Two shillings Sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore
       being the Alienation Fine on the within Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq his said
       Lordships Agent and receiver General               Benj.a Beall


Ex.d This Indenture made the twelfth day of October in the Year of our Lord
       One thousand seven hundred and Sixty four Between Charles Carroll
