417 af.d which is contained within ^the^ lines and Boundaries following Begining at a Locust marked with eight Notches ^Standing^ on the east side of a Road in the line that Divides the Land of Joseph Dawson from the Land of his Sisters and runs east thirty three Perches to the Creek then by and with the several Turns of the Creek to the North east by North line of Lostick then with that line North east by North Ninety six Perches to the Land of Annett then with that Land North West by West Seventy Perches and still with the same Land North east by North thirty eight Perches to a Post with eight Notches being one of the Boundaries of the Old Plantation then with that Land North forty degrees West two hundred Perches to a red Oak with eight Notches in a small Swamp then South West fifty nine Perches to another red Oak marked as af.d then South thirty four degrees West Twenty five Perches to another red Oak marked as af.d then South fourteen degrees West forty nine Perches to the Begining Containing One hundred and Seventy two Acres with the Appurtenances in which recovery ^the said Elizabeth Haddaway paid Vouch to Warranty the Common Vouchee whereby a Good and Perfect Common recovery^ with single Voucher of the said Premises with the Appurtenances According to the usual Form of Common Recoveries was had against the said Elizabeth and her Heirs as by the Record thereof remaining in the said Provincial Court it doth more at large Appear Now this Indenture Witnesseth and it is hereby declared that the true intent and meaning of all the Parties to the said Recovery and to these Presents was before and at the time of the said recovery and yet is that the said Recovery and Execution thereof should and shall be and enure and be Construed judged and taken to be and enure that the said Recoveror and his Heirs should and shall stand and be seised of the said Premises with the Appurtenances and every part and Parcell thereof to the Uses intents and Purposes herein after set Down expressed and Declared and to no other use intent or Purpose Whatsoever that is to say to the use of the said Matthew Tilghman and his Heirs forever (In) |
