297 On the seventh day of March 1764 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named John Howard (son of Samuel) and Acknowledged the within Deed According to Law Before Geo Steuart March 7.th 1764 Received of M.r Thomas Rutland Two Shillings Sterling for the Use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Fifty Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq his said Lordships Agent and receiver General Recorded the 16.th of April 1764 Benj.a Beall 7 1/2 s.d Ex.d I have received of the within named James McDonald Seventeen Pounds Seven shillings and nine Pence Current Money in full for Principal and Interest on the within Mortgage In Consideration whereof I do release unto the said James Macdonald All Right Claim and Demand Whatsoever to the within Lands and Premisses In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 16.th April 1764 Sealed and Delivered Hen Mar Dulany in Presence of Adm.x of Edw.d Dulany seal P L Chew Geo Steuart 1764 April 16.th Came M.rs Henrietta Maria Dulany Adm.x of Edw.d Dorsey Deced before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the Provincial Court & Acknowledged the above Writing to be her Act and Deed to & for the Uses and Purposes above mentioned According to Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided Geo Steuart Recorded the 17.th April 1764 1 1/2 s.d (Vide) Mortgage Recorded in Liber E I N.o 12 folio 312 & 313 one of the Provincial Court Land Records |
